Snagmanager is an application used in the construction industry to reduce the time and cost of resolving defects and snags during the construction, renovation or refurbishment of hotels, pubs, cafes and restaurants. Snagmanager has a proven track record in saving customers up to 55% in defects management time.
Originally a desktop application, Signals then created a mobile version of Snagmanager which could be used in a browser on mobile devices.
To further extend the mobility and versatility of Snagmanager, an app version was commissioned for IOS and Android devices to leverage the ever increasing popularity of smart phones and tablets in the workforce.
The Snagmanager app allows project managers to identify and record issues, take photos using the device camera in the app, and then assign an open issue to a relevant contractor. Mobile connectivity is not required during the snagging process as the syncing of data is manually enabled when internet access is available, so the whole process is truly mobile. Contractors then use the app to manage their tasks. The details of a snag can be emailed onto a third party, and an estimated time of completion can be input and updated as a snag is progressed.
Each snag is finally marked as closed on completion. Again, mobile connectivity is not required during use, with the syncing of data on request by the end user. Admin users and project managers can administer all active projects to get an accurate and up-to-date assessment of all open and closed snags at any moment in time.
