Epson (UK), part of the Seiko Epson Corporation, is a market leading manufacturer of large format colour printers.
Research commissioned by Epson identified a widely held belief that large format printing is prohibitively expensive. Determined to correct this damaging misconception, Epson called Signals for a solution.
Signals worked with Epson to create an online cost calculator (based on the CD-ROM version thats Signals also produced). All customers have to do is enter information about print quality, media type and image resolution and the calculator would report the true cost per page. But as prices are liable to change, Epson need to be able to update the data whenever new pricing is released. Signals have provided EPSON with a simple XLS document which is then uploaded to the live site.
The result? Epson has provided it's customers with a quick and easy to use online tool to demonstrate the true cost of printing on it's printers.
