Sterilox - Sales Training Program

Signals has developed an innovative electronic training programme that is being used to promote an equally innovative product designed by Sterilox Technologies International.  The CD-ROM training system has been built using a unique tool called Digital Briefcase.

Sterilox Technologies is the world’s leading supplier of super-oxidised water.  This pioneering solution (which is produced by a patented electrolytic cell) is a fast-acting, broad spectrum biocide that can be used for sterilisation and disinfectant purposes.  Unlike most biocides, it is very safe, non-toxic, and environmentally benign.  It is used primarily to clean and disinfect endoscopes.

To ensure that this pioneering product is used correctly, Sterilox needed a training programme that could be easily adapted to meet the diverse needs of different groups of people (including sales reps, distributors, customers, clinical specialists, engineers and office personnel).  Face-to-face training is time-consuming and expensive, so the company started looking for a more economical solution, and approached Signals.

Signals decided to use its powerful Digital Briefcase tool to build a suitable eTraining programme.  Digital Briefcase is a software product that enables users to design and produce rich, interactive CDs on a standard PC.  The CDs can incorporate a wide range of formats – from Word and Excel files and pdfs through to sound, multi-media and video files.  Signals uses this versatile tool itself and also sells it to customers who want to develop their own marketing, promotional or communication packages.
