The challenge

Our Sporting Life needed a simple to use, yet robust content managed website to enable them to post event details for exhibitions around the country and to enable the public to share their sporting memories with others.

Our Sporting Life, an 'Inspired by London 2012' games project and the cultural olympiad, aims to celebrate british sporting achievements, memories and heritage and share these moments with the public via displays and exhibitions.

The solution

Using Umbraco CMS and our own .net programming, Signals created a customised CMS with specific modules to allow the plotting of events on google maps, the capture and sharing of user submissions and a visual map of sporting collections around the UK. The final site build embraces the energy and passion that past and present sporting heroes have.
